    Warrant - Born Again

So, I got the new Warrant CD the other day and It is a really good cd. A throw back to the first three albums with a heavy leaning to the heavier Dog Eat Dog album. If you are a fan of good melodic rock you should check out the new Warrant album Born Again

Saw Warrant with Poison back in '90 at the Civic Coliseum in Knoxville. Warrant blew Poison's doors off.

    Re: Warrant - Born Again

Back in the day, Freedom Hall was the greatest small venue around for concerts. Under the new management, the best thing you're gonna see over there is Sesame Street Live.

the new SEKY EXPO center in pikeville is a great place to see a concert. Already they have had Kid Rock, 3 doors down, and coming soon is a HUGE show with Def Leppard and Journey!!!

    Re: Warrant - Born Again

blue cats in knoxville gets some good bands, but the sound in there sucks arse. the orange peel in ashville is a sharp little place. the all time greatest venue to see a show would have to be, in my opinion, The Loft in atlanta. if the band you are in to plays there, see it. i would give 20 years of my life to see Tool play there.

the gorge in George, Washington is also incredible, but one hell of a drive from here.

    Re: Warrant - Born Again

The Masquerade in ATL is a great place. They've got three levels, Heaven, Hell, and Purgotory. The bands play in the top level. It was an old mill back at the turn of last century.

The 9:30 Club in DC is great, plus it's got alot of history behind it.

Fletcher's in Baltimore is a great little whole in the wall place to see a band as well.

Stella Blues in Asheville is becoming my new favorite. They get lots of good acts there.

There are a couple of good places in Huntington WV. One called the Monkey Bar across the street from Marshall's football field. The stage is about a foot higher than the crowd. There was a place up there that was called Gumby's, then the Drop Shop, then Gyrations, now it's called something else...anyway. It was a good place for a show. They've got a great upper level to see from.

    Re: Warrant - Born Again

I attended that same show at Freedom Hall in JC. The concert featured 3 bands with Warrant being the headliner. The other two bands were Firehouse and Trixter. What was cool about the show was that Warrant later went to a local bar, what was then known as Richard A's, and jammed there as well as indulged in drinks and other interesting festivities. Cool show back in the day...
